Applications below marked with *** were originally fitted with OEM Part# 278-000-577 (9 Tooth
Starter) and were later superseded by Sea-Doo to OEM Part# 278-001-301 (8 Tooth Starter) for
all replacements. Although the original starter for this application had 9 teeth and the replacement
only has 8 teeth, the drive-end construction was modified on the 8 tooth version, allowing them to
interchange without changing the flywheel.
